Introduction to Buddhism and MeditationIf you are new to either Buddhism or meditation we offer a range of courses which provide an excellent introduction. Meditation Drop-In ClassesYou can drop in any week for a basic introduction to meditation.
Introduction to Buddhism and Meditation CoursesDuring these courses beginners will be given a firm grounding
in Buddhist meditation, and will be taught the practices of the
Mindfulness of Breathing and the Metta Bhavana (the cultivation of
loving kindness). The basic ideas of Buddhism will also be introduced
during the course. Tuesday evening classes:- 7.15 - 9.45pm
Thursday evening classes:- 7.15 - 9.45pm
Also available on these evenings are Level 2 'Going
Deeper' courses which are suitable for those who have completed the
'Introduction to Meditation and Buddhism' Level 1 courses : - Tuesday evening classes:- 7.15 - 9.45pm
Thursday evening classes:- 7.15 - 9.45pm
