Dharma Night: The Buddha’s teachings for everyone
The Lotus of Compassion
CHANGE OF PLAN LAST MINUTE:
guest speaker Sanghamani from Karuna is unfortunately unwell, so Dharmashalin and Shubhalila will be stepping in to continue exploring the theme of the Lotus of Compassion
They will be exploring questions such as, what is compassion, how to balance compassion to self and others, what to do when it’s hard, how to take compassion into the messiness of life.
The Buddha said “I teach one thing, suffering and the end to suffering”. So why do we suffer and how do we in the face of so much suffering, our own, others, and in the world at large, respond with kindness and compassion? Join us for a personal and dharmic exploration of these themes, through talks, poetry and compassion based meditations, in this Dharma night series.

Every 7 weeks there will be a new theme, along with pujas and guest speakers. Each session is stand alone, so you don’t have to come to every one in the series.
Dharma Night is the main evening of the week where people with various levels of practice come together. It’s suitable to anyone who is familiar with the mindfulness of breathing and metta bhavana meditations.
No need to book. No charge – please make a donation.
