Dharma Night

Dharma Night

When

January 8, 2026
7:15 pm - 9:15 pm

Event Type

Dharma Night: The Buddha’s teachings for everyone

Puja: Led by Maitrisara

The ritual will be dedicated to Padmasambhava, the great Indian tantric master of the 8th century who helped establish Buddhism in Tibet. Revered as a figure of profound transformation especially within Tibetan Buddhism, Padmasambhava is known for subduing obstacles through wisdom. His presence symbolises the capacity to turn adversity into a path of liberation.

As we enter the darkest part of the year, this ritual invites participants to connect with Padmasambhava’s qualities and draw on his guiding influence. Through mantra recitation, short readings, and simple English verses, we will evoke his transformative energy.

If you’ve never been to a puja before you’re very welcome to just watch and absorb the atmosphere. No pressure to join in.

CHANGE OF PLAN: This event was previously advertised as mitra ceremonies, but they will now be on 26 February
