Dharma Night: The Buddha’s teachings for everyone
Story of my Dharma Life: Introducing Dharmashalin
If you’ve spent any time at the Birmingham Buddhist Centre in the last decade, you will have probably met Dharmashalin. He’s often found teaching classes, introductory and beyond, running study groups and befriending anyone with an extraordinary enthusiasm. Join us for this evening in October, where he’ll be sat in the interview seat for a change, sharing some of his personal stories from his dharma life, and specifically his time working for Triratna in India in the early 2000s.
______________
Every 7 weeks there will be a new theme, along with pujas and guest speakers. Each session is stand alone, so you don’t have to come to every one in the series.
No need to book. No charge – please make a donation.
Dharma night runs from 7:15 – 9:15pm every Thursday evening. Doors open at 7pm for a chance to chat and have tea before hand. Open to anyone who is familiar with the mindfulness of breathing and metta bhavana meditations.
