Dreams are often an overlooked part of our lives. We may rarely speak about them or give them much attention. Yet within the Buddhist tradition, dreams are considered as an opportunity for spiritual growth, and even a path towards awakening.
This workshop explores how reconnecting with our dreams can open us to deeper levels of energy, creativity, and self-understanding. Many of us remember the sense of magic and wonder dreams had in childhood, but over time we can become alienated from this dimension of our experience.
As part of the workshop, we will introduce the practice of lucid dreaming—learning to become aware within the dream itself—and explore how this connects with Buddhist Dream Yoga. Through simple practices and shared exploration, we can begin to rediscover the richness of our dream life and engage with it as a meaningful path of transformation.
The workshop will explore:
Practical ways to develop a richer dream life
The connection between Lucid Dreaming a Buddhist Dream Yoga practices
The benefits of bringing mindfulness and loving-kindness into our dreams
How connecting with our dreams enriches our waking lives

Arthabandhu’s dream workshops are a revelation. They don’t just talk you through Buddhist theory and tradition about the place of dreams in the Dharma life. They also give you the practical tools to connect more deeply with your dreams and investigate the workings of your own mind. Plus – they’re extremely fun! – Merl, Isle of White
Arthabandhu’s dream workshop gave me a deeper insight into my dreams and their meaning and significance to me. Bringing to mind my dream and drawing and annotating it facilitated and grounded my understanding. It gave me a language to express my deeper desires and realisations – Liz, Colchester
