Dharma Night: The Buddha’s teachings for everyone
‘Every living thing without exception’
To celebrate the end of the series exploring the Karaniya Metta Sutta, we will be welcoming back, Aryagupta (ex-Rafael) and ex-Sheldon from their ordination retreats. This marks a very significant step towards living a life committed to cultivating more metta in the world, and living from a place of dedication to the three jewels, the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha. The aspiration to practise not just for oneself but for the sake of all beings can bee seen in one of the Ordination Vows: ‘for the benefit of all living beings, i accept this ordination’
Come along to hear more about their retreats and welcome them back!
“And think of every living thing without exception:
the weak and the strong, from the smallest to the
largest, whether you can see them or not, living
nearby or far away, beings living now or yet to arise –
may all beings become happy in their heart of hearts!”
