White Tara and the Wish-Fulfilling Wheel

On Dharma day this year we will be evoking the beautiful female Bodhisattva White Tara
White Tara is sometimes seen as having a Dharmachakra Wheel at her heart called a Chintachakra, a Wish-Fulfiiling Wheel. The Dharmachakra is a symbol associated with the first time that the Buddha taught the Dharma to others. When he is said to have turned the Wheel of The Dharma and set in motion the communication of the Enlightenment experience that continues to this day.
We will be exploring why White Tara has a Chintachakra at her heart and how this may be seen as Wish-Fulfiiling, as well as the importance of communicating the Dharma to others and how we can best do that.
The day will include meditation, discussion, imaginative exploration and ritual.
