SUMMARY:Guhyaloka Working Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Guhyaloka Working Retreat\nLed by Akashanaga\nDates: Saturday 2
7th February to Saturday 6th March 2027\n\nGuhyaloka\, also known as the s
ecret valley\, is a remote and beautiful retreat centre in the Spanish mou
ntains. Nearly 700 men have been ordained there since 1987 and it is a myt
hic place that holds much significance in our tradition.\n\nJoin a group o
f men from Birmingham for a working retreat there\, alongside the Guhyalok
a community. We will take part in daily practice\, study\, and ritual\, wi
th five mornings of physical work in the forest and around the centre. The
re is a full silent practice day within the programme\, and plenty of time
  to rest\, explore\, and get to know each other.\n\nCost: 160 euros\, not
including flights (approx £60 to £120 return from Birmingham)\n\nFind ou
t more about Guhyaloka here\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nIs this retreat for me? \n\nThis
retreat is for men regularly practising in Triratna and with experience o
f being on retreat. We will be following a programme of meditation\, study
and ritual\, alongside the physical work.\n\nGuhyaloka is basic in its am
enities and the landscape is rugged\, so you would need to be prepared for
exposure to the elements. Sleeping accommodation is in a number of small
huts (or kutis) dotted around the retreat centre. Lighter work duties are
also available for those who need it.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nIf you are interested
or want to talk more then please contact Akashanaga at dh.akashanaga@gmail
