LEARN TO MEDITATE… IN A DAY
A TOOLKIT FOR THE MIND
On this day course, learn how to meditate and experience how deepening awareness can lead to living a life more fully – how mindfulness can lead to a deeper sense of pleasure but also help with the more tricky things in life: stress, anxiety and navigating difficult emotions just to name a few.
A perfect way to learn if this is your first time trying meditation. Or great if you’d also like to refresh your skills, maybe it’s been a while since you came to the Buddhist Centre and you’d like to come back, or if you use any of the meditation apps and want some in person advice or feedback.
Led by Maitrisara who has been practising Buddhism and meditating for over 30 years.
We apologise, this event was advertised as being held on Sunday 25 February, but due to unforeseen circumstances, will now be happening on Saturday 9 March instead.
Arrive anytime after 10am for a 10:30 start.
Bring your own vegetarian/vegan lunch. Please note there will be tea & coffee facilities and microwave available but no café on site. We will provide all meditation equipment, mats, cushions or chairs and have plenty of blankets to get really comfortable.
Note- there is no charge for this course – all our classes and events are run by donation, there is no fixed fee. Please watch this video to understand more deeply what that means.
