Dharma Night: The Buddha’s teachings for everyone
Letters of Gold: Diving deep into the Dhammapada
with Balajit and Friends
The Dhammapada is one of the most beloved collections of the Buddha’s teachings. Brief, vivid verses that have guided practitioners for over two millennia. Each verse is like a small jewel, simple in form, but potent and precious.
Over five weeks, different speakers will be exploring a verse or two, unpacking its meaning, its relevance for modern life, and the ways it can inspire real transformation.
Whether you’re new to Buddhism or returning to these “letters of gold” with fresh eyes, this series offers a chance to go deeper, together.
This series runs from 11 June until 9 July
______________
Every 7 weeks there will be a new theme, along with pujas and guest speakers. Each session is stand alone, so you don’t have to come to every one in the series.
Dharma Night is the main evening of the week where people with various levels of practice come together. It’s suitable to anyone who is familiar with the mindfulness of breathing and metta bhavana meditations.
No need to book. No charge – please make a donation.
Dharma night runs from 7:15 – 9:15pm every Thursday evening. Doors open at 7pm for a chance to chat and have tea before hand.
