An Evening of Storytelling
From mass murderers, to grieving mothers, to battles to the death over a chessboard, the Buddhist tradition is rich with stories which communicate something of the possibilities of transformation in a Buddhist life. Join me, Harry and Alice for an evening where we share and discuss some of our favourite stories from the Buddhist tradition.
Hosted by Adityadasa, Alice & Friends. Come along and meditate, chat, hang out, and explore practising Buddhism under the age of 30. You don’t necessarily need to consider yourself a Buddhist, just someone who is interested.
No booking required, just turn up. You can also stay in touch through our WhatsApp group – if you’d like to join, please ask when at one of the sessions. If you have any questions before coming along, please email alice.evans.bbc@gmail.com.
Before the session you are also invited to join for Jacket Potatoes at 6pm. Please bring some veggie/vegan toppings: curry, dhal, chilli, cheese, beans, salad.
No fixed charge – event by donation on a give what you can basis, either when you come or online here.
