June Session: Our everyday rituals can be simple yet sacred: morning coffee or tea, how we eat, how we relax or how we spend time with friends. In Buddhism, rituals evoke our intentions and values even more fully. They combine vast aspirational imagery and the transcendental, and bring it into our world. It’s easy to be psychological about self development, so in June we’ll be taking a different approach to practice, through the doorway of ritual.

We’ll then be taking a break in July/August. Back in September.

Hosted by Adityadasa, Alice & FriendsCome along and meditate, chat, hang out, and explore practising Buddhism under the age of 30. You don’t necessarily need to consider yourself a Buddhist, just someone who is interested.

No booking required, just turn up. You can also stay in touch through our WhatsApp group – if you’d like to join, please ask when at one of the sessions. If you have any questions before coming along, please email alice.evans.bbc@gmail.com.

Before the session you are also invited to join for Jacket Potatoes at 6pm. Please bring some veggie/vegan toppings: curry, dhal, chilli, cheese, beans, salad.

No fixed charge – event by donation on a give what you can basis, either when you come or online here.
