White Tara Puja to finish Ingle’s 24 hour challenge

Here’s the full details of the challenge from Ingle;
There is a traditional Tibetan ritual performed for someone in need of healing, where the family commissions a Lama to create a White Tara Thangka. This is traditionally completed in one continuous 24-hour session, usually starting at 9am and finishing at 9am the following day, after which a ritual is performed to consecrate the image itself.
I have wanted to do this for a while, to sit for a full 24 hours, drawing this beautiful Bodhisattva and becoming fully immersed in her compassion, so I have decided to take on this challenge while I have a little more time.
I will be doing this as an offering for Polishing the Jewel, as a sponsored fundraiser to help raise money for the Birmingham Buddhist Centre, supporting its longevity and wellbeing so that it may continue to be a source of love and wisdom for all to enjoy for many years to come.
This will be a real challenge for me. Usually, one of my pieces takes months to complete, as I work on it gradually, picking it up and putting it down when I get tired. So to stay awake for a full 24 hours and complete this in one sitting will really test my skills (and my coffee maker)
I will begin on Wednesday 13th May at 9am and aim to have the piece finished and printed by 9am the following morning at the centre. Once it is completed and printed, I will hold a Puja at 9am on Thursday 14th May at the Buddhist centre to consecrate the image.
If you donate and would like a copy of the finished White Tara, please let me know so we can make sure enough are printed, though if you wish to donate and not receive a print out, that is also very appreciated.
On the day itself, I will also be giving regular updates throughout the 24 hours, as I will definitely need plenty of encouragement (and coffee!) to help get me through 😊
